One of Tulare County’s top ten most wanted criminals has been captured after being on the run for almost seven months.
The Tulare County Sheriff’s office says 32-year-old, Homero Ontiveros, from Earlimart, was taken into custody by Indio police in Southern California, Wednesday.
Authorities say he was arrested after robbing and shooting at a Brinks security guard while the guard was putting cash into a bank ATM.
The sheriff’s office says Ontiveros was wanted for questioning regarding multiple armed robberies at businesses in Porterville, Lindsay, Bakersfield, and Delano.
He also has felony warrants out of Nebraska for robbery.
