Man who ‘terrorized’ store employees in armed robberies gets 39 years – Times Herald

WHITE PLAINS – A man convicted of zip-tying employees’ hands and holding them at gunpoint while robbing a New Windsor Rite Aid and a Town of Newburgh ShopRite of more than $26,000 was sentenced to 39 years in federal prison on Friday, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York announced.

Lawrence Brown, 46, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Nelson Stephen Roman after a jury convicted him on March 9, 2017, of two counts of robbery and two counts of brandishing a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence.

He had been charged with dressing as a Pepsi deliveryman to steal $5,911 from the Rite Aid’s safes in November 2013 and holding three employees hostage for hours before stealing $20,140 from the ShopRite safes in April 2014.

$10000 reward to help ATF catch gun store burglars

WANTED IN BELLEVUE —
There is a $10,000 reward if you can help the ATF and Bellevue Police catch the three suspects who stole 70 guns during a ‘smash and grab’ burglary.

Surveillance video shows one of the suspects run into the West Coast Armory on December 26th and go around the counter. The crook goes out of frame, then re-appears behind the counter. Then in the video, you see them smash in the door to get inside. Another angle from a different camera inside the store shows a car ramming the door and knocking it off its hinges.

The ATF says the car was stolen and later found dumped by the crooks.

The crime is exactly like four other ‘smash and grab’ gun thefts at pawn shops in Western Washington, including one in Olympia where the crooks backed up and rammed the doors.

The ATF

ATF offering reward in Gallatin gun store robbery

GALLATIN, TN (WSMV) –

The U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is offering a reward to track down the thieves and stolen firearms taken in a smash-and-grab style robbery at a Gallatin gun store over the weekend.

Right now, the ATF is still in the process of figuring out the exact number of guns taken, including the weapons’ makes and models, but know at least one of the weapons taken was an AR-15 assault rifle.

The store manager says the crooks broke through the front door with a hammer, and surveillance images show at least two suspects inside Sumner Gun Supply on West Main Street in Gallatin. Their faces are covered, but the pictures show a dark-colored SUV leaving the scene.

ATF Special Agent Michael Knight says a majority of the firearms taken were pistols but

FBI most wanted gun store robber is on the run with M-16 – and wrote to owner he stole arsenal from to THANK him for …

The Wisconsin man at the heart of a nationwide manhunt after stealing an arsenal of weapons and threatening an anti-government ‘revolution’ in a 161 page manifesto mailed to Trump wrote a letter of apology to the owner of the gun store he robbed before going on the run thanking him for protecting the 2nd Amendment right of citizens.

A newly filed police complaint seen by DailyMail.com documents the extraordinary act and lays bare the full horror of Jakubowski’s arsenal noting that, among other weaponry, he is now armed with a fully automatic M-16 assault rifle.

The detailed complaint states that his letter of apology and support to Armageddon’s gun store owner was discovered by his sister with whom he lived when she was cleaning out his bedroom.

Police have now released an edited photograph of Joseph Jakubowski, 32, and doubled the<p data-recalc-dims=Read More at: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4403784/FBI-wanted-gun-store-robber-run-M-16.html
