NH Fugitive of Week wanted for armed robbery

CONCORD — A man wanted for armed robbery, whom authorities consider armed and dangerous, is this week’s New Hampshire Fugitive of the Week, according to the U.S. Marshals office in Concord.

Daryl George Gurley, Jr., 24, is charged with two counts of armed robbery and two probation violations on underlying offenses of larceny and receiving stolen property, the Marshals said.

Gurley also uses several aliases, including Daryl Furley and Brian Murphy, the Marshals said.

Warrants for Gurley have been issued by the Londonderry Police Department, the Rockingham County Sheriff’s office, and the Merrimack County Sheriff’s office. Two of the warrants were issued on Nov. 29 last year and one was issued on Dec. 29, the Marshals said.

Dangerous robbery, assault suspect added to Tennessee’s Most Wanted list

A robbery and assault suspect who authorities say should be considered armed and dangerous has been added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Top 10 Most Wanted list.

Dewayne Halfacre, 42, accused of robbing two store clerks in Almaville on Jan. 19, is wanted for aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony, false imprisonment and theft, the TBI said.

While his alleged partner, Timothy Howell, 51, was taken into custody on Monday, Halfacre has eluded authorities, the Times Free Press reported. The search for Halfacre temporarily closed some schools this week, the Times Free Press said.

Most Wanted: Columbia police search for suspect shot during robbery attempt

COLUMBIA, Tenn. (WKRN) – Wanted on a charge of aggravated robbery, 20-year-old Markeno Sanchez Garrett is accused of fleeing from officers while being treated for a gunshot wound.

According to the Columbia Police Department, a man was driving from Willow Street onto Polk Street back on July 17, 2017 when he said Garrett, who was his passenger, pulled out a gun and tried to rob him.

The victim opened the car door and bailed as Garrett reportedly grabbed on and rolled out of the car with him.

The two fought on the ground until police said Garrett grabbed for his gun, and shots were exchanged between Garrett and his alleged victim.

Garrett was taken to a hospital for treatment, but the 20-year-old left before he could be taken into custody.

“We allowed him to get medical treatment, but when we went to go serve warrants on him, he disappeared,” Joseph Gideon with the Columbia Police

Police search for Lakewood bank robbery suspect – WKYC

Lakewood Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a bank robbery suspect, Monday.

According to reports, a man entered Dollar Bank located at 15509 Madison Avenue and gave the teller a note that demanded money and stated that he had a weapon.

The suspect is described as a 5’5” tall skinny, white male wearing blue latex gloves, gray coat that said construction on the back.

No injuries were reported.

ATF offering reward in Gallatin gun store robbery

GALLATIN, TN (WSMV) –

The U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is offering a reward to track down the thieves and stolen firearms taken in a smash-and-grab style robbery at a Gallatin gun store over the weekend.

Right now, the ATF is still in the process of figuring out the exact number of guns taken, including the weapons’ makes and models, but know at least one of the weapons taken was an AR-15 assault rifle.

The store manager says the crooks broke through the front door with a hammer, and surveillance images show at least two suspects inside Sumner Gun Supply on West Main Street in Gallatin. Their faces are covered, but the pictures show a dark-colored SUV leaving the scene.
