Lynn man on State Police most wanted list nabbed – The Boston Globe



Police Tuesday night caught a 28-year-old Lynn man who was on a State Police most wanted list in connection with a fatal home invasion in 2012.

State troopers, Lynn and Revere police officers, and members of an FBI task force found Steven C. Touch hiding inside a drawer built into a bed frame at a 108 Empire St. home around 7:30 p.m., State Police said in a statement.

Touch, along with two co-defendants, were indicted last June by a Middlesex County grand jury for the murder of 22-year-old Quintin Koehler during a home invasion in Billerica early in the morning of July 7, 2012, State Police said.

NH Fugitive of Week nabbed in Manchester

CONCORD — N.H. Fugitive of the Week, Scott Cross, 56, was arrested Wednesday by the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force in Manchester, according to the U.S. Marshals office in Concord.

Information was quickly developed indicating that Cross was residing in an apartment at a residence in the 50 block of Ash Street in Manchester. Several members of the fugitive task force responded to that residence, where it was determined that Cross was inside of the apartment and refusing to open the door.

The fugitive task force was able to force entry into the apartment, where Cross was located and arrested without further incident.

Cross’s arrest was a combined effort of several agencies that are members of the fugitive task force including; Belknap, Hillsborough. Rockingham Strafford County Sheriff’s Offices, Federal Protective Service and deputy U.S. Marshals.

Joburg’s ‘most wanted property hijacker’ nabbed

JOHANNESBURG – Johannesburg’s “most wanted property hijacker” and his two alleged accomplices, implicated in eight cases of property hijacking in the city, have been arrested, City of Johannesburg mayor Herman Mashaba said on Saturday.

The three would appear in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on 4 January, he said.

“It is alleged that this kingpin approached unsuspecting tenants residing in properties around Joburg and introduced himself as an investigator. He would then state that the true owners of the properties were hijackers and that the tenants should not co-operate with them. Further, he would instruct the tenants not to pay any rent to the owners but to him instead.”

Fugitive of the Week nabbed at Phoenix House in Dublin

A US Marshals Fugitive of the Week was arrested at an addiction treatment facility in Dublin on Tuesday evening. 

Nicole Perry, 21, whose last known address was in Brunswick, Maine, was arrested by members of the NH Joint Fugitive Task Force on two outstanding warrants: a federal arrest warrant alleging possession with the intent to distribute a narcotic drug and a Strafford County warrant for bail violations subsequent to a charge of organized retail crime/larceny.

“When a federal court gets involved, its a larger amount [of drugs,” said Jeffrey White, supervisory deputy U.S. Marshal for the District of New Hampshire, in a phone interview Wednesday morning. “We’re not talking about a user quantity.”

White did not provide further details as to the quantity of drugs Perry was alleged have on her possession.

Fugitive of Week nabbed at Concord apartment

CONCORD — New Hampshire “Fugitive of the Week,” Jesse Pickard, 29, who was wanted for failing to register as a sex offender, was arrested early Wednesday afternoon by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in a Concord apartment, according to a press release issued by the U.S. Marshals office in Concord.

Pickard was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant issued by the Concord Police Department for failure to register as a sex offender. Pickard is a Tier II sex offender and required to register as a sex offender for life, based on convictions in 2010 and 2011 for felonious sexual assault out of the Merrimack County Superior Court, the marshals said.

CONCORD, — This week’s New Hampshire “Fugitive of the Week,” Robert Clark, 28, was arrested Thursday afternoon by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in a Concord apartment.

Clark was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant issued by the Concord Police Department for failure to register as a sex offender.

Clark is required to register as a sex offender for life, based on a 2009 conviction for possession of child pornography.
