Warren County authorities seek Anthony Mark – fugitive of the week

Anthony J. Mark, 33, is wanted on a terroristic threats charge, under a warrant dated Jan. 25, 2018, according to the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.

Mark, who last known address was in first block of Everest Drive in Allamuchy Township, is described as 6 feet tall and 195 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

The prosecutor’s office asks anyone with information about Mark to contact investigators via a tip line at 908-475-6643, the fugitive unit at 908-475-6272 or via fugitive@co.warren.nj.us.

Born: July 6, 1983.

Description: Jones is 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Police say: Jones is wanted by the Erie County Sheriff’s Office on two probation violation warrants.

A five-day-long manhunt in Marion County, Tenn., that involved personnel from 17 law enforcement agencies ended early Friday afternoon with the capture of Dewayne Half- acre, who was taken into custody without further incident.

Halfacre was on the lam from police for a week after allegedly robbing a store in Almaville, Tenn., on Jan 19. He was spotted in Marion County but somehow managed to elude authorities for days despite stealing and crashing a deputy’s car.

Suspect eludes capture for 2nd day in Marion County, Tenn., manhunt [photos]

UPDATE: Our news partner WRCB reports that Whitwell elementary, middle and high schools will be closed Wednesday because of the robbery suspect search.

Authorities in Marion County, Tenn., called off for the evening an ongoing manhunt on Tuesday after a robbery suspect on the loose near Whitwell eluded capture for a second day.

Suspect DeWayne Half-acre has been added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Top 10 Most Wanted list and is thought to be armed and dangerous.

“We’ve done everything I know to do and just haven’t found him yet,” Marion County Sheriff Ronnie “Bo” Burnett said Tuesday night.

Timothy Howell, 51, of Madison, Tenn., was taken into custody on Monday while Halfacre, the man police said is his partner, remained at large, prompting the massive manhunt in the area between Whitwell and Powells Crossroads in eastern Marion County.

Manhunt in Marion County, Tenn., continues as school lockdown lifted

WHITWELL, Tenn. — A manhunt is under way in Marion County for a robbery suspect who has been on the run now for a second day after another suspect believed to be his partner was captured on Monday.

Suspect DeWayne Halfacre has been added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Top 10 Most Wanted list.

Marion County Sheriff Ronnie “Bo” Burnett said around 4:15 p.m. EDT today that the lockdown was being lifted at public schools in Whitwell so all students can go home. Burnett said there was a heavy law enforcement presence at the schools to make sure students’ departure is safe.

The schools in Whitwell were also locked down for a time on Monday when the first suspect was captured and the second took off on foot.
