Fugitive of the Week: Man wanted on charges from Boardman chase

MAHONING COUNTY, Ohio (WKBN) – U.S. Marshals are looking for a man accused of leading police on a chase and having drugs.

David Kopnitsky, 38, is charged with failure to comply with the signal or order of a police officer, vehicular assault, aggravated possession of drugs and possession of cocaine.

The Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for his arrest on February 6. He is wanted for failing to appear in court after a chase in Boardman that happened in December of 2016, according to U.S. Marshals.

Marshals say Kopnitsky has a lengthy criminal history.

Kopnitsky is described as a white man with black hair and brown eyes, approximately 5’11” tall and 191 pounds.

Utah County’s Most Wanted: Man wanted on felony theft charges

The Utah County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for Scott Sorensen, last known to live in the Provo area, for one warrant for his arrest.

The warrant was issued when Brown failed to come to a mandatory court appearance in December.

The warrant stems from an incident in April, where Sorensen reportedly stole approximately $7,000 worth of materials from a person whose garage he was working in.

He reportedly took items including a spotting scope, batteries, and speakers.

Sorensen was charged with theft, a second-degree felony, for the incident.

He has been described as 5 feet, 11 inches tall with blue eyes and brown hair.

Fugitive of the Week: Man wanted in Mahoning Co. on weapons charges

MAHONING COUNTY, Ohio (WKBN) – U.S. Marshals are looking for a man, wanted in Mahoning County on weapons charges.

David Johnson, 19, is charged with having weapons while under disability, improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle and falsification.

A warrant for his arrest was issued on November 13, and his whereabouts are unknown.

Johnson is described as a black man with black hair and brown eyes, approximately 5’10” tall and 140 pounds.

The U.S. Marshals said Johnson is a convicted felon with a violent criminal history. He should be considered dangerous.

Fugitive of the Week: Man wanted in Mahoning County on child abuse charges

MAHONING COUNTY, Ohio (WKBN) – U.S. Marshals are looking for a man accused of abusing a child on several occasions.

Kevin Peeples, 31, is charged with three counts of felony endangering children.

He is described as a black man, approximately 5’10” and 210 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

A warrant for his arrest was issued by the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office on October 26.

Fugitive wanted on involuntary manslaughter charges arrested in Madison Township – News



The U.S. Marshal’s Task Force on Oct. 31 arrested a fugitive in Madison Township wanted on involuntary manslaughter charges after he sold heroin that led to two overdose deaths.

According to Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal Andrew Deserto, 22-year-old Cleveland resident Savonn Primm was arrested by the Task Force in the 6700 block of Georgetown Lane.

Former FBI ‘most wanted’ fugitive sentenced to 37 years on drug charges

ELIZABETH — A drug kingpin who evaded police for three years and was one of the FBI’s most wanted fugitives has been sentenced to more than 37 years in prison for running a large-scale cocaine and heroin operation in Elizabeth.

Elizabeth resident Luqman Abdullah, 35, must serve 30 years before he is eligible for parole on the 19 criminal charges a jury convicted him of in November, the Union County Prosecutor’s Office said Tuesday.
