Man Charged With Killing Methuen Mother Arrested In California

METHUEN (CBS) – A man charged with strangling the mother of his child inside her Methuen home in 2016 was arrested Wednesday in California.

Emilio DeLarosa, 33, was wanted for killing 29-year-old Wanda Rosa on September 12, 2016. Rosa had an active restraining order out against DeLarosa at the time of her death.

DeLarosa was added to the Massachusetts Most Wanted list in February.

On Wednesday, the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section joined U.S. Marshalls and California police to take DeLarosa into custody following a traffic stop.

Illinois man who made FBI’s ‘Ten Most Wanted’ list charged with murder, unlawful flight – WLS

A Chicago man who made the FBI’s “Ten Most Wanted” list was charged Monday with first-degree murder. He also faces federal charges of unlawful flight to avoid prosecution after his arrest Sunday at O’Hare International Airport.

Luis Macedo had been on the run for eight years and was arrested in Guadalajara, Mexico, by Mexican federal immigration officers in coordination with the FBI. Former FBI director James Comey had placed Macedo on the “Ten Most Wanted” list in 2016 with a $100,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

Macedo was charged for his alleged participation in the 2009 murder of 15-year-old Alex Arellano in the 3000-block of West 54th Place in Chicago’s Gage Park neighborhood. Arellano was beaten with baseball bats, shot, run over with a car and set on fire because he refused to “throw up a crown” for the Latin Kings gang, police said.

Fugitive of the Week: Man charged with selling heroin in Mahoning County

MAHONING COUNTY, Ohio (WKBN) – U.S. Marshals are looking for a man, charged with heroin trafficking in Mahoning County.

Michael J. Hopkins, 26, was indicted on several drug trafficking charges after an investigation by the Mahoning County Drug Task Force. A warrant for his arrest was issued in April.

Hopkins is described as an African American man, approximately 5’9″ tall and 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Tipsters may remain anonymous, and reward money may be available.

Man charged for role in theft from charity is Hunterdon fugitive

FLEMINGTON – Jason Gebele, 26, whose last known address was in the Whitehouse Station section of Readington Township, has been named the fugitive of the week by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office.

An arrest warrant was issued on April 27 when he failed to comply with conditions of the court.

Gebele was one of two people indicted in October 2014 after allegedly planning to burglarize the Lord’s Closet in Readington Township in August of that year, stealing blank checks from the non-profit and trying to cash one at Unity Bank, it was previously reported.

In a separate indictment, Gebele was charged with theft after allegedly stealing a sunburst Fedner Telecaster guitar in August of 2014 from a person in Readington Township.

He had been found guilty of conspiracy and sentenced to a maximum of 73 days in jail and three years

WASHINGTON — An Anne Arundel County man who stabbed his wife to death in the doughnut shop where they worked joins another Maryland man on the FBI’s “Ten Most Wanted” list.

Bhadreshkumar C. Patel, 26, is charged with first- and second-degree murder for the 2015 killing of his wife Palak Patel. Court documents said that 21-year-old Palak Patel was struck in the face with a large kitchen knife at the Dunkin’ Donuts on Arundel Mills Boulevard.

Several customers were still in the restaurant as Palak Patel was stabbed multiple times in a backroom of the business, officials said.

The brutal nature of the crime and the possibility that someone outside the United States knows where Patel is contributed to the decision to add him to the list, said
