Fugitive of the Week: Man charged with armed robberies considered …

MAHONING CO., Ohio (WYTV) – U.S. Marshals are looking for a man accused of two armed robberies that happened last week. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Luis Mateo, IV, 19, is charged with two counts of aggravated robbery with a firearm. Police say both of the robberies happened on January 20.

A detective on the case said in one instance, Mateo pulled a woman inside of a car through the window, pointed a gun at her and took all of her money and gift cards.

He is described as a white man, approximately 6’2” tall and 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Warrants for his arrest were issued by the Struthers and Campbell police departments on Tuesday. According to the detective, Mateo also has warrants from a police chase on January 8.

FBI Jacksonville Arrests Fugitive Charged in Drug Trafficking

JACKSONVILLE, FL—Charles P. Spencer, special agent in charge of the FBI Jacksonville Division announces the arrest of FBI fugitive Rahmon D. Allen, during a joint operation of federal, state, and local law enforcement partners in Jacksonville.

Allen, aka “Fat Boy,” had been wanted since 2014, when the United States District Court, Western District of Missouri issued a federal arrest warrant for his alleged involvement in trafficking over 1,000 kilograms of marijuana. The drugs were used in a distribution enterprise involving members and associates of the South Side Posse and Five Ace Deuce criminal street gangs. An FBI Wanted Poster was distributed to the public nationwide at the time, but all attempts to locate Allen were unsuccessful.

On the morning of Wednesday, January 10, 2018, the FBI Jacksonville field office received new information regarding Allen’s potential location. With the assistance of law enforcement partners, FBI special agents took Allen into custody that afternoon

Man charged with escape is Fugitive of the Week

CONCORD — A New Hampshire man being charged with escape is the U.S. Marshals Fugitive of the Week.

Kyle Joseph Lemire, 24, who has ties to the Manchester and Concord areas, is being sought by New Hampshire State Police after walking away from custody. He is charged with escape. He has underlying convictions for robbery.

Lemire is described as a white male, 5-feet, 6-inches tall, weighing 140 pounds with brown eyes, brown hair. He has a tear drop tattoo next to his left eye.

If you know of the whereabouts of Lemire, or have observed a person who resembles him, please contact the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, or your local police.

A man who was on an FBI most-wanted list has been arrested in connection with a May 22 robbery and shootout inside a Colerain Township bank.

The FBI announced that 21-year-old Malcolm Lorenzo Jones, whose last known address was on Loralinda Lane in Colerain Township, was captured Tuesday. A tweet Wednesday from the FBI said only that Jones was arrested in Ohio.

Gloucester man charged in connection with explosion near Colonial Williamsburg

A Gloucester man is accused of committing an act of terrorism after an Oct. 19 explosion in a restaurant parking lot in Williamsburg. 

Stephen Powers, 30, was arrested late Friday night at his home without incident, according to Williamsburg Police. Powers was arrested in connection to an explosion and fire Thursday across the street from The College of William and Mary.

The explosion and investigation by local, state and federal police disrupted the city roughly 45 miles south of Richmond, which was crowded with the usual tourists as well as alumni in town for the historic university’s homecoming weekend.
