Man Charged With Killing Methuen Mother Arrested In California

METHUEN (CBS) – A man charged with strangling the mother of his child inside her Methuen home in 2016 was arrested Wednesday in California.

Emilio DeLarosa, 33, was wanted for killing 29-year-old Wanda Rosa on September 12, 2016. Rosa had an active restraining order out against DeLarosa at the time of her death.

DeLarosa was added to the Massachusetts Most Wanted list in February.

On Wednesday, the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section joined U.S. Marshalls and California police to take DeLarosa into custody following a traffic stop.

Fugitive on Buffalo Police’s Ten Most Wanted list arrested at Toronto Airport

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A fugitive who made Buffalo Police’s Ten Most Wanted list was arrested at an airport in Toronto Tuesday.

Christopher McCleary, 49, was arrested without incident by the Toronto Police Fugitive Squad at the Toronto Pearson International Airport as he was about to board a flight to Edmonton.

In Jan. 2013, McCleary and four other people were found inside a vehicle during a Buffalo Police traffic stop. A loaded sawed-off shotgun, a loaded revolver, and two loaded pistols were also found inside of the vehicle.

McCleary fled after posting bail, and was on Buffalo Police’s Ten Most Wanted list.

Toronto Detective Sergeant Wayne Banks said that McCleary had appeared on his radar a few weeks ago when the U.S. Marshalls Service contacted his office. Banks added that they verified McCleary was in Toronto using security video.

Banks said he believes McCleary had no idea he was being followed.

Federal agents join search for Tri-Cities suspects now wanted in two counties

SULLIVAN/HAWKINS COUNTY, TN (WJHL) – Two suspects wanted for attempted murder now face charges in two Tri-Cities region counties.

Police are still searching for Jarret Heitmann and Makayla Stilwell, they’re wanted in a shooting on Bloomingdale Road in Kingsport. 

The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office says that’s where a man was shot in the chest early Tuesday morning. Witnesses said there was a fight in the yard before shots were fired.

But now police say the shooting is connected to another case.

Mount Carmel Police in Hawkins County say the suspects were actually at a home on Bay Street before it happened. Police say Heitmann and Stilwell broke into a home and kidnapped a woman, identified as 36-year-old Brandy Overbay.

US Marshalls arrest 17-year-old on aggravated robbery charge

U.S. Deputy Marshal John Garrison said the U.S. Marshals Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force received a collateral lead from the North Texas task force that Marqwailyn Smith of Greenville was in the Tyler.

Smith was arrested without incident at a house in the 1200 block of N. Moore Street.

Smith County judicial records show Smith was booked in the Smith County jail shortly before 5 p.m. He is being held on a $500,000 bond.

(KRON) — Marissa Johnson and her baby boy are lucky to be alive, but they remain in hiding as she fears for their lives.

One year ago on Thursday, an eight-months pregnant Johnson was shot in the head by her ex-boyfriend Ricardo “Ricky” Colindres.

It happened as Johnson was arriving to work at the Casa Pacifica Apartments. Colindres, who is not the father of the boy, showed up and allegedly tried to kidnap her at gunpoint. She told him she would not leave with him, at which point he put a gun to the back of her head and fired.
