‘Fugitive of the Week’ arrested by Laconia police

CONCORD — On Saturday night, Oct. 21, “Fugitive of the Week,” Eric Prescott, 32, was arrested by members of the Laconia Police Department after responding to a call about a suspicious person in Wyatt Park.

Officers responded to the call about the suspicious person in Wyatt Park, which was reported as a possible overdose in the outhouse off of Champlin Street. Upon arrival, the suspicious person fled, was chased and caught by officers. After a brief struggle, the individual was arrested and charged with resisting arrest. He was later identified as Eric Prescott, who was wanted on an outstanding parole warrant. This parole violation warrant was issued in relation to Prescott’s prior conviction and sentence for attempted aggravated felonious sexual assault and sexual assault.

Prescott was transported to the Belknap County Jail, where he will be held without bail on his resisting arrest charges and his pending
