Las Vegas suspect’s father was bank robber on FBI Most Wanted list

The brother of the suspect in Sunday night’s deadly Las Vegas shooting said the men’s father was a bank robber who was on the FBI’s Most Wanted list, according to multiple reports.

ABC News’ Brian Ross reported Monday that Eric Paddock, the brother of identified gunman Stephen Paddock, disclosed their father’s identity, and said Eric and his brother “did not know their father well.”

Their father, Benjamin Hoskins Paddock, was placed on the FBI’s Most Wanted fugitive list in 1969. His FBI poster lists several aliases, including Patrick Benjamin Paddock, Perry Archer, Benton Hoskins Paddock and “Old Baldy.”

“Paddock diagnosed as psychopathic, has carried firearms in commission of bank robberies,” his FBI’s Most Wanted poster reads. “He reportedly has suicidal tendencies and should be considered armed and very dangerous.”
