BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) – “Give me money, if you call police, I detonate a bomb…”
That threat, scrawled on a piece of paper by the suspect, James Keitz, during a bank robbery in Amherst.
One week later, police say he did it again, but since October 2015, nothing. That makes him one of Buffalo’s most wanted.
The FBI says 47-year-old Keitz robbed two banks in one week back in October 2015.
The FBI says Keitz entered the MT Bank on Niagara Falls Boulevard. Surveillance footage captured him wearing a sweatshirt, black pants and a baseball cap.
The FBI says Keitz displayed a demanding note to the cashier.
Seven days later, Keitz entered the Northwest Bank in Olean using a similar note, took the money and took off on a stolen bike.
The FBI says he is no stranger to bank robberies.
